Ghost of Samak Gives Democrats Tongue-Lashing in Parliament

BANGKOK – Parliament was sent into disarray yesterday when the ghost of Samak Sundaravej appeared in the chamber and launched into a twenty-minute tirade against the Democrat Party and the Thai political system.

The entertaining lecture spared no one, from current Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva, whom the slightly transparent Samak called “as Thai as Shepherd’s pie” to Privy Councillor Prem Tinsulanond, whom Samak repeatedly referred to as “that faggot.”

All MPs were transfixed by Samak’s ghost. After loudly applauding the speech at the end, several Puea MPs rushed to congratulate and hug the apparition and were left flailing around the room.

Samak’s specter then let out a hearty laugh and rose above the crowd before suddenly plummeting through the floorboards and into hell, where the ghost was greeted by Field Marshals Phibun Songkram, Sarit Thanarat, Thanom Kitticachorn and Prapas Charusathien.
