WASHINGTON DC Ahead of this week’s visit to ThailandUS President George W Bush has called on the Thai government to “free up the market of cheap DVDs in Patpong and Panthip.”

An irked Bush told Bangkok Post editor Pichai Chuensuksawadi, “I don’t know what the hell is going on over there, but every time I visit I look and I can never find them. This time around, I really want to stock up for my last 100 days.”

Bush said he had spent the last few days tweaking his list of “must buys,” with input from his family and was still hoping to find some titles he couldn’t locate on his last tour of Asia.

Besides deciding to add the latest season of Lost, Season 4he told Post editor Pichai he is hoping to buy “the entire OC for Barbara, Weeds, Seasons 1-3, for Jenna, and 41 has asked me for old episodes of Rawhide.”

“Oh yeah, and the second season of 24. Can’t forget that. I missed a few episodes during the invasion of Iraq.”
