The five-star Dhara Dhevi Hotel in Chiang Mai, which was purchased for 2.11 billion baht in December 2023 and carried 4.3 billion baht worth of debt, saw its two-story, 2,000 sq m spa destroyed by fire early Wednesday morning, with reports confirming the building was closed at the time, the power shut off, and no injuries.
