BANGNA – The Nation Multimedia Group made headlines in the Nation newspaper, Nation website, and Nation TV yesterday with the internally-anticipated launch of its new integrated Nation newsroom.

Speaking with reporters assembled from his own company, NMG chairman Sutichai Yoon provided an exclusive viewing of the “high-tech, comprehensive reporting center” that the reporters covering the story would soon be using to cover stories.

Citing the positive effects of synergy, the Nation’s senior newsman told the Nation’s other news people that the people responsible for creating the news at the Nation would now have a way to automatically collaborate with other Nation journalists on print, broadcast, and online editions of the Nation news.

The response from the gathered press was overwhelmingly enthusiastic, with numerous Nation writers calling the new facility “groundbreaking”, “exceptional”, and “a clear competitive advantage.” All reporters agreed that it was very, very newsworthy, and proceeded to create extensive written and televised coverage of the Nation’s new newsroom from within the Nation’s new newsroom.

Sutichai took advantage of the Nation’s press coverage of the Nation by offering Nation reporters a sneak preview of the Nation’s upcoming Krungthep Turakij TV, a “comprehensive business news channel” scheduled to go on air this month. Nation reporters were permitted a closer look at the facilities that they would be using, and given rare access to Nation executives and Nation star journalists, who interviewed each other in double Q&A sessions about how excited they were to be working with each other.

NMG then handed out press kits to Nation reporters, detailing the NMG’s vision for their own evolution into a modern, innovative news agency for the 21st century, including a mission statement to “look beyond borders” and “think outside the box.”

Full coverage of these and other groundbreaking developments about the Nation can be found on the Nation’s website.
