BANGKOK – In an exclusive interview with CNN’s Dan Rivers, embattled Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej said the PAD had repeated the horrors of October 6, 1976 in which one person died, but the situation was similarly “under control.”

Asked by Rivers if there was a risk of the current crisis devolving into another massacre like Oct 6, Samak replied, “Everyone in the country remember Oct 6, no one can forget. PAD kill as many people. But everything is under control. There will be no massacre. Don’t worry. Only one die.”
