BANGKOK – Her Majesty the Queen has graciously sent 100 baht inside a Hallmark card to the United Front of Democracy Against Dictatorship (UDD) wishing them “the best of luck” in the next year. The card was delivered to the UDD yesterday as they met at Sanam Luang. Inside, Her Majesty had generously placed a 100 baht note “to be spent as you see fit.” The group’s leader said they appreciated the gesture by Her Majesty the Queen and would buy some candies. The also told reporters they would write a thank-you letter.
