In response to Thai extremist groups who want to cut off electricity and internet exports to Cambodia, Hun Sen has instructed his government’s Ministry of Information to cease local broadcasting of all Thai movies and television shows effective at midnight on Friday, redirect internet traffic through other countries, curb imports, and reduce the length of visas for Thai citizens in a continuing escalation of the cold war between the two countries over the recent border clash.
