The remnants of tropical storm Kalmaegi have flooded northern rivers which feed into the Chao Praya, so the Royal Irrigation Department has raised the discharge rate at station C.2 in Muang district of Nakhon Sawan province from 2,800 cubic metres per second to 2,900 m3/s, while 15 provinces on the central plains have issued alerts because of flooding.
