BANGKOK – The PAD declared success in its “Final Battle”, the seventh in 2008, after House Speaker Chai Chidchob canceled the joint parliamentary session scheduled to start at 9.30 am Monday, after PAD protestors blocked access.

After declaring victory at the Parliament, anti-government protesters dispersed from the Parliament and headed to the temporary government seat at Don Mueang Airport, joined by comrades from the Finance Ministry and City Police Bureau.

PAD leader Somsak Kosaisuk declared the “Final Battle” a victory and vowed to return to Parliament if the government tried to convene again. “It will be even bigger, and even more final,” he declared.
