World Cup fans are in for an unhappy surprise this year as host country Qatar, a Muslim country in the Middle East, has banned beer consumption by fans inside any of the eight stadiums, along with numerous other behaviours often associated with revelers, including public religious displays, speech critical of the government, public argument or insults, homosexual activity, sex outside marriage, and public nudity, as well as banning any attempts at importing alcohol, pork products, or pornography.
