BANGKOK – Bangkok police have released a statement urging the male heterosexual community of the city to “exercise extreme caution” tonight should they venture out of their homes and partake in the social activities of Halloween.
In the statement, police said that: “Halloween sees a large spike in disastrous decision-making in regards to the choosing of sexual partners that could lead to lifetime trauma. Men typically dressed as women use the holiday to further disguise themselves completely beyond identification. We are urging the club-going population of Bangkok to exercise extreme caution.”
Police lieutenant Pote Boontreekul told NotTheNation, “Frankly, I suggest any male prone to one-night-stands stay indoors. It will be a minefield out there. Schoolgirls dressed as hookers, whores dressed as angels, over-the-hill prostitutes in hot pants, mixing with ladyboys. Every club will be like the Grace Hotel at 4am. When you wake up the next day you might be surprised by who’s lying next to you once that make-up is wiped off.”
After an experience he’ll never forget last Halloween, one expat, who refused to be named, was glad the police were alerting the public. “I thought it was all part of her costume,” he said shaking his head.
